Runwhizz is a new venture based in Reading, Berkshire, launched by UKA qualifed performance level 4 endurance coach Rob McKim, with the focus on running and athletic activities from enjoyment to fulfilment.

Below is a group of some smiley joggers at Prospect Park Reading who were part of a running programme led by qualified coach and run leader Rob McKim of Runwhizz. Two of the ladies shown were not able to run more than a few hundred metres when the started but now have progressed so much they they regulary run half marathons and one even did the London Marathon. Not bad eh! A new intake starts on Monday 9 June 2011 based on a introductory running workshop at 6.00pm and followed by an eight week programme on each Monday. The workshop begins at 6.00pm for 30 minutes followed by the first session until 7.30pm. The following seven weeks will have the session commence at 6.00pm for 1 hour. This initiative is in partnership with Reading Borough Council's Active Parks team. Rob is group leader for endurance at Reading athletic club and coaches some of the best talent in the UK including Jonny Davies age 16 who got a 3rd place medal in the English and British schools cross country championships earlier this year. Rob is also a Flying coach for steeplechase for England Athletics and as part of the role visits clubs and groups of clubs to to help them in their efforts to raise standards of performance.
